Contest Rules and Conditions

General Rules

1) TDEX Photo Contest both categories are open to entrants of all skill levels.
2) Photo contest staff and judges are not allowed to enter the contest.
3) Each individual can only win one prize or prize package. Entrants with multiple winning entries will be given priority in prizes by value.
4) All submitted images must have been taken by the entrant.
5) Images must be compatible with the themes “Andaman”.
6) Marine life should never be stressed or endangered for the sake of a photo. Conservation rules will apply to all entries, and decisions will be final.
7) Images must be no more than 2 years old from the date of taken.
8) Applicants can apply for the contest with not more than 5 images.
9) Photographers retain all copyrights to their images. The organizer, together with their lawful associates retain the right to publish the contest entries in print or online (Broadcasting, Printing, Public Displaying) to congratulate or feature the winners and their respective images, and to promote future events. Winning images will be included in a press release for third party websites and publications in the context of congratulating and/or featuring the winners and winning images, and to promote future competitions. Strict guidelines requiring photo credit and specific one-time press release usage are issued along with the press release.
10) Decisions made by the Contest Committee will be honored as final. Any disputes will not be considered in any cases.
11) By submitting the Application Form and any images, applicants understood and willing to abide by any rules and regulations set out by the Contest Committee

Special Rules

1. Photo of Andaman’s Underwater World: Photo must be taking from Andaman’s underwater only. Photo can be the marine life or human underwater that explores the beauty of Andaman Island.
2. Photo of Andaman’s traveling destination: Photo must be taking from Andaman Island only. Photo can be anything around Andaman Island such as human, animal or environment on Andaman Island.

Procedure of Application

1) Applicant must duly fill-out the Application Form and adhere one self photo
2) Application Form can be retrieved from:

3) Contest images must be digitally written into a CD and files must be in high resolution suitable to print clearly into 8 x 12 inches pictures. Applicant can also print their own images (size 8 x 12 inches ONLY) and adhere them into a grey-colored Future Board/Cardboard leaving 1-inch for frame on each side
4) Submit the duly fill-out Application Form and maximum of 5 (FIVE) contest images per Contest Project with image names and description of each particular image narrating its wonders or own impressions to:
